Position Overview:
We have a unique opportunity for a Sales Manager with SLED/Public Sector experience to build, grow and manage our new Chicago office.
The individual in this role will be responsible for the overall success of an assigned team of Account Executives. If you are looking for an opportunity to bring your management and training skills to lead a sales team to success, we would like to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities :
Lead and develop a team of Account Executives in our sales center which focuses on technology hardware, software and services to businesses
Manage team to achieve revenue and productivity goals
Utilizing team and individual development techniques, assist Account Executives in acquiring and developing customers to create an optimum customer portfolio
We are seeking candidates with the following :
Mentor and train teams to reach the highest level of success in sales and customer service
Minimum of 3 years sales management and SLED/Public sector experience with a Direct Market Reseller required
We would consider a strong Account Executive that has proven themselves in the SLED/Public sector and is ready and interested in the next step of their career – Sales Management
Proven success in a leadership capacity within a sales organization, retail or college leadership role
Demonstrated potential for management
Outstanding communication skills
Strong leadership and team-building skills
Experience within a technology sales environment preferred
BA or BS degree required
