This role provides SOPS technical support that assists in downstream sales process execution activities.
Assists in validating and/or producing “clean” sales quotes and sales orders for all products, including CPD, Storage, ES, CE, XMT, CS.
Able to analyze and properly associate upstream sales quoting activities into fully executable and priced configurations using defined processes, and Cray configuration and pricing tools.
Assists in maintaining product codes, subsystem configuration tables and component features lists in Cray configuration and pricing tools.
Assists in validating and reporting issues with product codes, sales cost model, configuration menus and rules in Cray configuration and pricing tools.
Validates and reports on issues with new or existing countries, sites, users, account managers with attendant characteristics, relationships and roles in Cray configuration and pricing tools.
Assists in the overall validation, efficiency and maintenance processes related to Cray configuration and pricing tools.
Assists in the maintenance and helps to assure the overall integrity of the SOPS quotes/configuration database and processes.
Assists with special bids process or exceptions as required.
Assists in documentation of SOPS tools and processes.
Assists with training on Cray configuration and pricing tools, and related processes.
Bachelor's degree in Science, math or technology, with significant theoretical/mathematical/analytical emphasis.
Extensive generic technology product knowledge how systems are defined, refined and executed into customer configured systems, both hardware and software.
5-8 years directly related experience, to include experience with complex systems sales, design, or support.
Detail and process oriented. Excellent communicator.

Organized and possess the ability for structured thinking, problem analysis and analytical expression of same.
Advanced Excel 2010 user (Array formulas, Excel tables, query objects, lookup and reference functions).
Strong math (algebraic, algorithmic, geometric) ability must be able to handle and interpret a range of real world to some degree of abstraction.
Knowledge and experience with structured programming and object model concepts preferred.
Basic understanding of and some practical experience with business terminology and practices.
