SUMMARY:
The Sales Representative – Capital Equipment is primarily responsible for selling diagnostic ultrasound solutions in an assigned market to new and existing accounts.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Identifies potential sales leads and develops sales plans for converting leads to sales using available resources. Interfaces with key buying influencers to negotiate sales terms and close the sale.

Meets/exceeds assigned sales quotas for assigned products.

Develops strong customer relationships to enhance and maintain knowledge of accounts and solicit orders

Generates proposals, prepares ultrasound configuration & sales quotations, plans customer meetings and demonstrates equipment capabilities on ultrasound products in assigned territory.

Participates in market analysis and works collaboratively in shared accounts with CT sales representatives, sales leadership, and marketing to continue to define opportunity to maximize territory potential.

Gains and maintains a high level of product knowledge of assigned diagnostic ultrasound products and competitive products, business objectives, pricing strategies, and proven sales techniques for diagnostic ultrasound products.

Develops, executes and reports on business plan for assigned territory

Submits forecast of orders and sales for assigned territory on a monthly basis

Manages assigned field inventory and sales samples.

Track and update all active sales opportunities using internal CRM (OSP).

Required Skills

Required Experience

4 year college degree or certification/license in sonography and requisite business experience

Previous experience selling diagnostic ultrasound or similar medical device to private office physicians strongly preferred
