What are the job responsibilities?
Identify client needs and coordinate efforts to service assigned plan participants in large governmental 457(b) plans, K-12, 403(b) and non-profit markets.
Take complex financial information and communicate it to clients in a manner that enables them to make informed decisions
Prepare the required paperwork to enroll and provide ongoing service and asset allocation guidance to defined contribution plan participants.
Who is our ideal candidate?
ING Financial Partners, LLC is seeking an experienced advisor to service 403(b), 457(b), K-12, governmental and non-profit markets in the Southern Oregon area. We are looking for a self confident, high-energy individual who has strong multi-level relationship building skills; excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work toward team and individual goals.
The successful candidate will be a self-starter and will possess strong analytical and time management skills. This individual will have a solid understanding of retirement industry trends, concepts, products and practices and a commitment to maintaining that knowledge. A demonstrated success in retail sales for investment products or equivalent is needed. Preferred candidates will have at least three years of experience and an existing book of business.
Essential attributes include solid organizational skills, client driven attitude, goal oriented and works well independently.
The candidate must possess a FINRA Series 6 and 63, as well as a state insurance license. Series 7 and 63/65 or 66 is strongly preferred.
A clean U-4 securities record is a must.
This position is not an employee of ING but will be a commission Representative working for ING Financial Partners.
