Job Family Summary
Sales Representative is responsible for increasing penetration and profitability in existing accounts as well as increasing market share through cold calling, prospecting, building relationships, post sales implementation and account maintenance.
Focused on account penetration, revenue growth and customer satisfaction within a territory. Involved in the sale of clinically differentiated solutions to include surgical instruments, equipment, products and/or disposables.
Buying process involves physician preference and one or two decision makers. Sales cycle is typically up to 6 months and call point is Physicians, Clinicians, Administrators and/or Materials Management within Surgery Centers. Frequency of renewal varies.
Territory covering Atlanta, GA, Birmingham, AL and Nashville, TN markets. Ideal candidate should reside in one of those local areas.
Bachelor's degree required
Min 4 years related sales experience
Must have medical device sales experience
Ability to travel up to 75% of time
Proven product knowledge in business area
Valid driver's license with clean driving record
