DESCRIPTION

Gyrodata Inc. is looking for a Sales Representative to be responsible for growing Gyrodata's market share and revenue, with established and new clients for North America who are based in Houston, TX.

DUTIES

Duties / Essential Functions

  • Provides superior customer service via creativity, responsiveness and strong interpersonal skills
  • Identifies and develops new market opportunities
  • Prepares technical and commercial proposals
  • Prepares and executes strategies for up-selling and cross-selling existing clients
  • Supports the Mid-Continent District Manager in overall cost control
  • Liaises with all levels of management to ensure superior customer service
  • Provides reports and forecasts as required
  • Visits on-going jobs to ensure client satisfaction
  • Possesses strong interpersonal and relationship skills
  • Possesses expert sales and marketing skills
  • Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Must possess outstanding telephone and computer skills
  • Must have strong technical knowledge of Gyrodata products and services
  • Establishes and maintains effective working relationships with team members and clients
  • Maintains own workflow and meet deadlines
  • Exhibits outstanding customer service skills
  • Responds to frequent demands of multiple customers (internal and external)
  • Supports and assists the other district sales representatives in city and field sales duties as required
  • Assists in other sales and marketing efforts, throughout the North America Region, as required
QUALIFICATIONS

Education / Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree is preferred
  • Strong technical knowledge of Gyrodata products and services
  • Working knowledge of artificial lift techniques
  • At least 10 years of oil field experience preferred
  • Marketing experience is a plus.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English
  • Or relevant combination of education and experience
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship skills
  • Expert sales and marketing skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Outstanding telephone and computer skills
  • Strong technical knowledge of Gyrodata products and services
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with team members and clients

Physical Requirements

  • Extensive driving and walking required
  • Ability to access all parts of a drilling rig
  • Light to moderate lifting
  • Ability to sit for eight hours
