Position Summary: This position will be responsible for executing mail campaigns, including list selection, merge processing, campaign analysis, campaign system maintenance and marketing research. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Circulation Assist in developing short and long term circulation and segmentation strategies to meet new customer growth goals. Assist in creating and executing multi-channel direct mail campaigns for multiple brands, including list selection, merge purge instructions to a 3rd party vendor and designing statistically valid test groups. Assist in development of integrated campaign analysis, partnering with marketing teams to effectively set-up, test, and measure results based on key findings. Create and maintain various schedules as related to mailing activities. Manage the system maintenance of all campaigns by setting up offers, promotion codes and source codes for tracking. Continuously reevaluate circulation plans for depth, offer and continued profitability. Works closely with Analytics team, E-commerce Marketing, Print Production, Customer Service, and outside database vendor. Manage relationship with Cooperative Databases and List Rental services. Analysis Analyze and maintain detailed testing results, providing P/L and breakeven analyses. Maintain historical performance database to track effectiveness of marketing campaigns and make recommendations for future opportunities. Develop and maintain competitive analysis reports. Analyze pre and post response mailing to identify strategies and improve overall response rates for assigned programs. Use Business Intelligence tools to query data and provide customer insight.
Basic Requirements: BA or BS in Marketing, Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, or Computer Science Five + years of direct marketing experience developing, implementing and analyzing database/ direct marketing programs Must have strong analytical skills and be proficient in analyzing and interpreting data from standard software packages and databases Advanced knowledge of MS Excel & PowerPoint , Access and/or comparable programs. Experience with traditional and web marketing database management and database query tools such as Brio/Hyperion. Thorough understanding of Direct Marketing math, key metrics and P/L analysis Organized, detail oriented and able to meet deadline commitments Project oriented, entrepreneurial, pro-active, collaborative, creative and self-motivated work style with proven ability to manage multiple projects and changing priorities effectively.
