SUMMARY: This position is directly responsible for managing the sales, positioning, and value added product development of Fresh Meats Pork processor products. This includes coordinating sales efforts for these items within the Tyson sales network of national and International Service Centers to maximize overall product value for the Fresh Meats Group. The position requires interaction on a daily basis with Plant Operations, Scheduling, Logistics, Claims, Credit, and other internal support groups along with an established external customer base. Maximized sales realizations, optimal inventory position management, value added product development, and exemplary customer service are primary drivers for this area.
Education: Bachelor's Degree and 2 plus years' experience or equivalent combination of both. Experience: Experience in meat or like commodity sales and/or protein supply chain management preferred. Computer Skills: MicrosoftExcel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint a plus. Communication Skills: Strong verbal presentation and writing skills. Special Skills: Creative problem solving skills are a plus; excellent customer interaction skills, goal oriented, overall positive and productive approach, team player and results driven. Travel: 2 to 4 trips annually
