Role : player/coach (oversee inside sales support and 1 - 2 geographic territory managers) of enterprise content management software for Sharepoint ecosystem; expansion role

Compensation: $100k+- base salary; $200k+- On Target Earnings; with potential for equity grant after 6 months of employment.

Territory : named accounts

Selling cycle: 30 to 90 days, depending upon product sold

Individual Quota: $1.5m

Team quota: $2.8m to $4.1, depending upon if managing 1 or 2 territory geographic managers

Sample competitor: Avepoint

Competitive advantage: Almost 90% of the most commonly required functionality for 50% of the price

Sales support: dedicated Business Development representatives (inside sales people who generate and qualify appointments); marketing and trade show support; and Sales Engineers

Deal size: average of $19K, with $10k and $75k exceptions

Candidates must have:
  • Infrequent career changes
  • Sustained track record of success reaching and surpassing quota selling enterprise software
  • Recent and noteworthy experience selling deals on a weekly basis, i.e., 4+ deals per month
  • 5 - 10 years of sales experience
  • Disciplined, metric driven, and activity oriented
  • High energy
  • Excellent prospecting and qualifying skills
