Intertek Commercial & Electrical provides safety testing and certification services to a variety of industries including wireless technology, security, home appliances, industrial, medical, telecommunications, automotive, building products and electronics.

The opportunity has arisen for an Sales/Account Manager - Global Key Accounts to join this global organization which respects diverse perspectives, experiences, and traditions as essential, and values each employee’s contribution toward achieving our business objectives.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBITLIES

Coordination of all global sales activities involving Global Key Accounts in the Automotive sector

Development, distribution, and maintenance of strategic business plans for all accounts

Opportunity generation

Tracking of all key account activity, both inside and outside of the GKAM team

Results tracking and reporting

Coordinating internal resources including account teams, Operations leadership, and executive management

Establishing executive-level customer contacts

Delivering executive-level presentations of Intertek and Intertek services

Interfacing with Global Key Account Managers in other regions

Introduction of new Intertek services, as well as custom client solutions

Overall growth of revenues generated from Global Key Accounts in the Automotive sector

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in terms of education, training, and experience.

Ten+ years successful sales experience sales to the executive level in the automotive industry.

Familiarity with automotive industry; ideal candidate should have database of existing contacts.

Have a verifiable track record of territory growth and individual account growth.

Must be self-motivated and assertive and have the ability to work independently.

Possess excellent written and oral communication skills, and superior presentation skills.

Must possess strong organizational and time management skills.

Working knowledge of computer systems, i.e. Microsoft Office is essential.

Experience working with diverse teams (engineering, operations, marketing).

Experience with Sales/Lead tracking software desired.

Ability to travel at least 50% of the time, local and international travel.
