This position is responsible for the p erformance of ELISA of several varieties, development of species-specific standard immunoreagents, data analysis and data management, compliance with BSL2 universal precautions in laboratory work.

Bachelors with 10 years experience or Master's Degree with 2-5 years experience or PhD in Immunology or related field is required. The position requires knowledge of antibody-based assays, specifically several forms of ELISA that vary due to peptide antigens or whole protein antigens, species, species-specific secondary immunoreagents, qualitative or quantitative analysis, and type of regression analysis. Knowledge of techniques of hybridoma cell culture techniques, viable cell counting, freezing and thawing of cells is required. Preferred knowledge includes knowledge of assay qualification parameters, including Precision (repeatability, Intermediate Precision), Accuracy (spiked recovery), Robustness (variations in temperature or incubation time), LOD, LOQ. Industrial experience in a strong corporate setting is preferred. Experience in a team environment is preferred. Successful candidate will be goal oriented as well as process oriented. An awareness of the importance of timelines in a corporate setting is required. Adherence to safety guidelines in a laboratory setting is required. Experience with Biological Safety Level 2 guidelines is preferred.
This analysis is expected to be completed in 11 months.
