Your daily responsibilities include:
Responsible for fostering a fun environment
Responsible for being a gracious host to all guests and co-workers
Responsible for promoting a positive influence in the community and participating in company-sponsored events
Perform timely alterations for new hires and current Team Members.
Cooperate with department expectations regarding uniforms that should be discarded due to damage, and keeping items that should be maintained in the inventory and reused.
Follow departmental expectations with regard to hem length and appropriate fit of uniform garments.
Assist with unique uniform alterations to include maternity wear, short/long inseams or sleeve lengths, and shoulder/waist/torso alterations.
Ensure proper distribution of wardrobe items to team members in accordance with company policies.
Maintain wardrobe shop, working areas, machines, tools, supplies and equipment in a clean, orderly and operable manner.
Maintain inventory control of wardrobe items including assisting wardrobe lead with inventory projects.
Notify wardrobe lead of any supplies needed.
Attend all departmental and company training programs or meetings as directed.
Communicate any payroll deductions for purchase of additional or replacement wardrobe items in conjunction with departmental processes.
Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
Adhere to all gaming laws and regulations.
Perform all job duties in a safe and responsible manner including keeping areas clean and free of safety hazards, debris and litter.
Meet department uniform, appearance and grooming requirements.
Any job duty needed to promote productivity in the efficient administration of business or any reasonable request made by your supervisor or management personnel.
Provide friendly, polite, and professional service to all levels of Team Members.
Handle disputes in a professional manner and complying with our code of conduct expectations.
To be successful in this position it will require the following skill set:
Must have an outgoing, energetic and enthusiastic attitude
Must enjoy hosting others
Must be comfortable initiating conversations and creating a fun environment with our guests
A minimum of 1-year experience as an alterations specialist or seamstress, preferably in a casino or hospitality environment.
Ability to read and comprehend documents. Ability to speak and communicate effectively with individuals.
Ability to apply common sense, understanding and carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
Must be able to qualify for any and all licenses or permits required by local, state or federal law.
Physically mobile with reasonable accommodations including ability to push, pull, carry and lift up to 25 lbs., and the ability to push, pull, reach, bend, twist, stoop, stack, crouch, kneel and balance when performing job duties in varying work areas such as confined spaces
