Under direction of the Recreation Superintendent, supervises City League sports programs and related tournaments.
Enforces City policies and procedures as they pertain to program implementation.
Responsible for recording all scores for games/matches accurately.
Assists in officiating and scorekeeping as necessary.
Recognize hazardous conditions and makes quick decisions concerning such.
Record all acts of misconduct by players, complete accident forms, collect player fees and prepare a revenue report.
Report any deviations from established work schedules.
Act as a liaison between Recreation Administration and participants.
Supervise seasonal employees;
Ensure employees apply rules of the game properly.
Intervene and correct inconsistencies concerning rule interpretation.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Experience through participation in sports as an official, scorekeeper, supervisor or participant preferred.
