Provides a wide variety of routine and non-routine administrative tasks in support of the Department of Kinesiology’s business office, academic advising and career placement, and Counsilman Center. Serves as back-up payroll processor; manages the day-to-day operations of the Counsilman Center; and provides financial record keeping, including payroll and time sheets, purchasing, and administrative support for the Counsilman Center and Counsilman Center swim team. Assists in scheduling and running of camps, programs, and workshops/clinics sponsored through the center.

REQUIRED: High school diploma or GED and one year of office experience.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to work with minimal supervision, to prioritize and multi-task, and to accurately review and complete detail-oriented information and projects. Ability to work with a diverse population of students and faculty and to work under deadline pressure. Working knowledge of payroll procedures; proficiency in Word, Excel, Access, and Publisher; and knowledge of Outlook, EPIC, FIS, TIME, SIS, OneStart.
