-Conduct departmental tours, respond to emails and phone calls, manage Facebook page, update and assemble application information packages, coordinate meeting agendas and setup of Admissions committee meetings, work with the CSDCAS program and update daily. Activate ePAY record student application fees and generate reconciliation report, manage incoming applicant information.
Meet regularly with Graduate Admissions Director and develop recruitment materials and procedures.
-Coordinate Annual CDS Open House
-Manage Admissions Databases: CSDCAS, WebAdmit database and Gradmit
-Communicate with students about their records and paperwork associated with their programs including all graduate forms, maintain student databases, handle TA/GA assignments, fellowships, and process all appropriate forms.
SECRETARY TO CHAIR:
-Assist Chair with departmental correspondence and reports, meetings, surveys, maintain calendar and appointments as necessary, manage travel arrangements, payments and reconciliation, faculty dossier preparation, assist Chair and Department Administrator on special projects
-At the discretion of the Chair, process faculty forms, maintain material related to alumni, process adjunct and volunteer appointments, maintain course syllabi, faculty travel, meetings, coordinate graduate school commencement/CDS awards ceremony
-Assist with Workstudy Program
Individual must have excellent typing, computer and database skills (strong knowledge of Microsoft Office programs), the ability to work well with others and independently and perform tasks in a timely, efficient, and accurate manner; supervise the Keyboard 1 specialist. Confidentiality and exceptional ethics are required.
