Role Overview

Amdocs is seeking a Security Lead - Americas to ensure all persons within Amdocs offices and while on a business trip are in a safe and secure environment.

Coordinates security efforts with Global Security Manager to ensure alignment with corporate policies and programs

Provides Security Awareness sessions, training and guidance for employees while actively working to review current security procedures to ensure all identified security issues are addressed in a timely manner and cost effective manner

Investigate reported security incidents occurring either within our facilities or external security related events that impact employees

Responsible for the security badging procedures and enforcement of company guidelines for employee identification while on company property

Responsible for information and property security for visitors to the company?s offices including the related tracking of visitors

Track security related events impacting employees and employees on business trips and determine what actions should be taken to prevent similar events

Proactively work to identify security procedures for employees and business visitors for new offices opened within the Americas region. Ensures security of facilities and assets within their assigned portfolio by conducting threat and risk analyses at each site or facility to identify potential issues and serving as the internal auditor for security processes. This includes a focus on security assessment for proposed new locations within the Americas region.

Monitor internal control systems to ensure appropriate information access levels and security clearances are maintained. Direct responsibility for security badging operations at Amdocs locations

Conduct site visits to ensure a visible security presence and to assist with the identification of potential issues

Overseeing the day-to-day security program at the facilities assigned to the portfolio, which may include supervising contract security personnel and ensuring compliance with security policies and procedures. Responsible for managing the supplier relationship for companies that provide security services

Develop, maintain and communicate security procedures to address country specific procedures that address potential security issues that could impact employees and business visitors
Requirements

Undergraduate Degree in Business Administration, or a related discipline or a Diploma (2 year program) in security administration management

Experience and formal training, combined with demonstrated performance and ability may substitute academic requirements. Preference is for a current certification as a Physical Security Professional (PSP) as defined by ASIS International Security Certifications

Minimum 5 years in the security field (corporation of governmental related), along with at least 2 years Supervisory experience of both internal and external security support

Experience in conducting Threat and Risk Analysis in a multifaceted company with remote locations

Direct experience in an ISO/OSHA certification process

Experience in working with law enforcement and external security organizations

Experience in organizing and delivering Security Training and Security Awareness Seminars
Preferences

Fluent in Portuguese and Spanish

Knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, codes, regulations, and guidelines with the broad regional security aspects of the Americas

Knowledge of Human Resources practices, as pertain to investigations involving employees

Integrated electronic security management systems operations, including access control, CCTV, emergency communication, employee photo identification, etc.

Employee and asset security issues in both domestic and foreign markets

Methods for identification and analysis of security threats and risks

Emergency planning and evacuation procedures including a leadership role in business interruptions

Experience in organizing and delivering Security Training and Security Awareness Seminars
