Scope of Position
The Assistant Manager maintains an efficient operation of the department and meets guests expectations for quality of the product and service. It is the mission and intent of this position that the incumbent will help in the overall day to day operation, and long term outlook of our Lobby Lounge and Bar. The Assistant Manager will help create a pleasant dining environment and experience for guests.
The Security Supervisor duties and responsibilities are as follows:
-Manage the administration of lost and found with daily audits.
-Add support to the house officers and supervisors to complete routine assignments.
-Provide supervisory guidance and support to all security colleagues within the Security Department.
-Review and follow-up on all incident, loss and accident reports.
-Perform daily administration of hotel's key control system.
-Be responsible for the fire life safety policies and procedures as dictated by NYCFD fire safety director legislation.
-Assist in training of all colleagues in emergency procedure preparedness.
-Ensure Supervisors are performing daily audits of keys as per key control policy.
-Be responsible for the day to day operation of Security Department.
-Monitor security command center fire and alarm systems, radio systems.
-Patrol hotel areas and hotel properties.
-Detect fire, security and safety hazards, disturbances and unauthorized persons.
-Deals with emergency situations.
-Administers first aid and investigate colleague and guest accidents and incidents.
-Conducts parcel pass inspections of colleagues entering and exiting the hotel.
-A minimum of 2 years experience in a luxury market.
-***Fire Safety Director License is Required***
-2+ years experience as a Security Officer.
-Professional appearance and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
-Able to multi-task and is very detail orientated with strong follow through skills.
-Must be computer literate and familiar with basic programs.
-Must be able to work a flexible schedule.
