The Opportunity
The Senior Account Executive will develop and execute strategic plans that result in the successful sale of the Eduventures suite of services. In this role, the Senior Account Executive will foster relationships at the Executive and C-Level at higher education institutions in an assigned territory. The Senior Account Executive will conduct one-on-one and group consultative interviews to better understand issues of strategic importance and offer the appropriate solutions. Success in this position requires the ability to understand, communicate, and align a spectrum of client needs to high-end research, advisory, and consulting services. The ability to build a long-term portfolio of accounts and manage a multi-faceted business pipeline, along with a demonstrated track record of meeting individual and company-wide revenue goals is essential.

Key Responsibilities

Prospect and build new business within an assigned territory; acquire new clients successfully

Build relationships by meeting with educational executives (President, Provost, VP, Dean, etc.) to discuss challenges and present solutions

Meet regular sales targets through management of a sales pipeline

Conduct presentations and facilitate group discussions

Provide market insights to inform research and new product development

Required Experience:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent

A minimum of 10 years of professional sales experience, with a demonstrable track record selling research, professional services, or other consultative solutions

Proven negotiation and organizational skills

Excellent written and oral communication skills and team management

Strong business and technical acumen

25-40% travel required
