In the Bay Area, our rapidly growing client roster includes an impressive portfolio of companies focused on Energy, Cleantech and Sustainability in our Cleantech and Social Impact practices. We work with companies in the solar, biofuels, electric vehicle industries, among others. We also work with leading NGOs and corporations on their Social Impact and Corporate Social Responsibility programs. Our San Francisco office is currently seeking a Senior Account Executive or Account Supervisor with excellent account management, strategic planning, team management, digital/social and media relations skills to help support accounts on this team. Ideal candidates are passionate about working with innovative companies who are making a difference in resolving the major challenges of our generation.

Responsibilities include:
Serve as the day-to-day client contact during program execution

Develop and manage timelines and weekly actions plans to ensure all deadlines on client programs are met

Ensure all materials are client-ready and typo-free

Develop media relations strategies, goals, media targets and pitch angles that require minimal input from senior team leadership

Oversee a speakers bureau program

Persuasively pitch media and adjust angles as required

Breakdown and manage detailed tasks with the account team associated with planning and implementing special public relations events such as press conferences and analyst tours

Anticipate and proactively offer solutions to senior team leadership for executional issues specific to assigned programs

Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree

Minimum of 3 - 5 years public relations experience required; agency experience preferred

Experience in energy, cleantech and/or sustainability preferred

Previous experience working with vertical industry trade press - energy, transportation, building - preferred, but not required

Strong client management skills

Ability to manage multiple activities with attention to detail
