Applies principles of accounting to record and analyze financial data in the preparation of financial statements, management reports and other financial documents. Assist with month end and year end close process. Assist with review of staff accountant's work. Performs extensive account and analysis and general project auditing.
Compiles and analyzes financial data to prepare financial statements and other financial documents.
Coordinate monthly and year end close process with accounting manager.
Review Profit/Loss trend analysis and define variances.
Perform GL account reconciliation and analysis.
Reviews, investigates, and corrects errors and inconsistencies in financial entries, documents, and reports.
Perform general project auditing.
Prepares schedules for annual audit.
Assist with Inventory reconciliations.
Assist with special projects and other duties as assigned.

Accounting degree (B.B.A.) or equivalent and 3 to 5 years related experience.
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret contracts, financial reports, and legal documents. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from parent company or members of the S. P. Richards business community. Ability to effectively present information to middle and top management and auditors.
Ability to apply mathematical operations.
Ability to define problems, collects data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret data.
