This position will be responsible for preparing air permit applications for major projects, including Prevention of Significant Deterioration and Title V air permits. Air dispersion modeling experience a plus, but not necessary. This position will require knowledge of oil and gas operations and/or refinery operations. Responsible for keeping up to date with new and proposed air permitting regulations. Progressive design and project management responsibilities. Provide leadership, guidance and instruction to less experienced staff members. Regularly meets and corresponds with clients or outside personnel. This position includes some marketing responsibilities. Other duties as assigned.
Bachelor's degree in environmental engineering or similar degree from an accredited program. Minimum 7 years related experience (completion of master's degree in related field may be substituted for one year of experience). Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong analytical and problem solving skills. This position requires an individual capable of applying intensive and diversified knowledge of principles and practices to broad areas of assignments. Must be capable of devising new approaches to problems encountered. Previous consulting experience preferred. Professional Engineer a plus, but not necessary.
Valid driver's license required. In addition, must meet standards to qualify for and maintain the Company's vehicle driving privileges as outlined in the Company's Motor Vehicle Safety Policy.
