Performs project management tasks for all internal and external marketing research projects. Provides in-depth analysis of the donor file identifying basic donor characteristics for profiling donor segments. Recommends marketing strategies targeted to specific donor segments. Conducts and coordinates inter-departmental market research projects. Provides action plans with follow-up for all market research projects.

  • Strong statistical background with prior marketing research, consumer marketing, and data mining experience preferred
  • Demonstrated skills in working within a complex environment with demonstrated capabilities in organizing, translating, and presenting complex quantitative/qualitative information to senior executives and/or boards of directors as a group and individually
  • Ability to manage out-sourced projects
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to be creative and to think strategically, speak and write in a clear and understandable manner for internal/external relations
  • Ability to understand complex verbal and written instructions; understand data processing applications
  • Experience using relational databases and data warehouses, knowledge ordinarily acquired through a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related discipline with a strong quantitative background
  • 4 years of marketing research or predictive analytic and data mining experience
  • Customer relationship management (CRM) experience preferred
  • Highly organized with a strong competency in SPSS (or similar statistical analytics software)
  • Working knowledge of advanced statistical methods such as regression and factor analysis; and familiarity with data mining concepts
  • Master's or advanced degree in a quantitative discipline preferred
  • Must possess a valid driver's license
