The Sr. PeopleSoft Developer will work with the Functional and Development teams and other consultants to review Columbia's customized processes, reports and interfaces to determine what technical changes are required as a result of enhancements or fixes to the PeopleSoft application suite. The developer will work with the Development, Infrastructure and Functional Teams to program, test, and document and implement specific new and modified programs and interfaces changes. The PeopleSoft Developer will communicate with the functional (Payroll, HRPC, HRIS or Finance), Development and Infrastructure teams as needed to resolve technical issues and implement program changes. Under the direction of the Application Development Team Lead, the PeopleSoft Developer will have the primary responsibility of conducting Impact Analysis, Application Development and Unit Testing to ensure the quality of the systems application's current design and development standards. This position will work closely with the Project Manager, Functional Design Lead and Application Development Team Lead to design, develop, test and implement large project related changes. The developer will need to have the ability to work independently and prioritize tasks to meet project deadlines. The PeopleSoft Developer may work in a project environment; reporting to the Application Development Team Lead. Essential Responsibilities: - Work in a functional/technical capacity with a good understanding of business processes, relational databases and PeopleSoft table structures. - Collaborate with PeopleSoft HRMS (PAC) and Financial (ARC) Development teams to provide analysis, design, development and testing support. - Conduct impact analysis and collaborate with the development team to resolve related issues. - Develop technical specifications and assist with functional specifications. - Create and update documentation and modify impacted processes if necessary. - New process/code development; custom enhancements to existing code, application patches/fixes/upgrades. - Testing impacted and new programs, troubleshooting and resolving defects identified - Assist with development of test conditions and script. - Data and/or process analysis; code documentation; performance tuning; enhancements - On-site production support of Payroll processes and on-call batch processing technical support on a rotation basis. - Creation and review of Technical Designs; unit testing; bundling/un-bundling of code using PeopleTools 8.49 and Oracle 11 platforms.

- Bachelor's degree required. - 5+years relevant work experience with PeopleSoft 8.x (v. 9.0 is plus) development experience with PeopleSoft HRMS and Financials applications.
- Experience documenting processes for PeopleSoft HRMS and Financials. - Experience working on enterprise wide projects a must. - Experience of on-site and remote overnight production operations support. - Two full lifecycle PeopleSoft HR or Financials implementation experiences. - - 3-5 years experience with PeopleSoft development tools. - 3+ yrs PeopleSoft development and integration experience with upgrades and patches. - 3+ yrs experience developing PeopleSoft interfaces to and from 3rd party systems. - Strong knowledge of application development tools. - Excellent knowledge of PeopleSoft HCM and Financials Databases. - 5+yrs experience on full PeopleSoft implementations with recent experience (past 2yrs) using PeopleSoft HRMS and/or Financial. - Excellent understanding of a systems development lifecycle methodology. - Excellent Communications skills (oral and written), interpersonal, and organizational skills are required.
- Working with an enterprise wide, large scale implementation. - Experience working with PeopleSoft Implementations in a not-for-profit environment. - Experience with PeopleSoft Commitment Accounting and General Ledger. - Experience working within a matrix or project implementation environment.
