Essential Job Functions
Coordinates with department personnel to determine special or more complex audio visual needs and to provide assistance.
Maintains audio visual equipment and makes modifications and repairs as necessary.
Coordinates events for off-facility organizations using audio visual equipment, ensuring appropriate equipment is available in a timely manner.
Determines placement, installation and testing of equipment to ensure equipment is properly functioning and meets event needs.
Provides technical support to audio visual staff and to company personnel on special projects.
Maintains inventory of audio visual parts and supplies; completes requisition forms for re-ordering of replacement parts and other supplies.
Diagnoses more complex audio visual problems during conferences and presentations; provides and implements appropriate solutions.
High school diploma or G.E.D.
Two or more years of experience in audio visual services
Experience working with audio and video conferencing equipment such as telephones, microphones, projection systems etc.
Experience working with computer hardware and software and relevant programming languages
Personal computer and business solutions (or presentation) software skills
Good organization skills to coordinate activities and maintain inventory of audio visual equipment
Communication skills for communicating and coordinating with business unit personnel
Ability to work independently and as a part of team
