The Senior Associate is responsible for working with the Project Manager/Business Analyst to build test requirements, develop test plans, coordinate test data and expected results necessary to thoroughly prove out the business requirements for annuity systems. Secondary responsibilities will include some business analysis and business requirement writing.

Primary Responsibilities
• Preparation and execution of test plans for new products, product features and system releases
• Ensure that testing activities allow the systems /platforms to meet business requirements and goals, fulfill end user requirements and identify existing and potential issues
• Ensure testing issues are identified, reported, tracked and resolved in a timely manner
• Communicate test progress, test results and other relevant information to management and key stakeholders
• Make recommendations for improvements of applications to programmers and developers
• Provide post implementation support on deliverables as needed
• Assist in developing a testing automation and metrics strategy
• Requirement gathering and specification writing for system enhancements
• Collaborate with business users, developers and testers to ensure that projects are completed accurately and on time

Required Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent skills and experience
• 2+ years of systems testing and test plan development experience
• Some business analysis experience
• Knowledge of fixed and variable deferred and immediate annuity products, annuity systems and testing methodologies
• Knowledge of Automated Order Entry Platforms (Ebix AnnuityNet/Aplifi), Straight Through Processing and the DTCC is a plus
• Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team
• Excellent written and oral communications skills
• Ability to self manage and motivate in order to meet deadlines and work under pressure
• Strong organization and problem solving skills including the ability to respond to changing needs and shifting priorities
• Ability to allocate time efficiently and work on multiple projects concurrently
