In this position …
  • You’ll play a key role in developing digital media strategy and plans, and make recommendations consistent with the approved strategy. You’ll manage daily tasks for stewarding approved plans and train Associates in media fundamentals, policies/procedures and systems.
The Responsibilities
  • Assist Manager in development of digital communication plan options and recommendations
    • Understand basic & advanced methodology and data behind 3 rd party research tools and run the needed reports to assist in media recommendation development
    • Gather, analyze and disseminate data to provide sound, strategic, consumer-insights driven media recommendations
    • Deliver POVs/position papers on key client issues and/or client opportunities
    • Make appropriate recommendations for the maintenance or growth of the media plan based on client activity
    • Seek client approval of plans and recommendation on a timely basis
    • Research incremental opportunities for client advertising
  • Ensure proper execution of digital communication plans:
    • Maintain accurate budget control and flow of media activity, and proactively, consistently update client contact(s) through periodic analyses and projection reports
    • Implement and monitor digital buys/schedules, maintain campaign results
    • Compile monthly digital reconciliation against actuals for billing
    • May be responsible for Donovan Data Systems (DDS) management
    • Prepare media authorizations per approved plans/project requests
    • Maintain some aspects of client billing and budgeting process
    • Monitor media budget for campaign and issue periodic analyses and projection reports
    • Maintain accuracy of planning costs / rates
  • Establish and maintain strong, collaborative, productive working relationships across:
    • Communication Planning teams and Implementation teams, to ensure media strategies are delivered and brand goals/client needs are met
  • Partner agencies (where/when applicable), to help create a seamless communications process
  • Sales representatives & media partners
  • Provide timely and accurate delivery of all work
  • Train and develop Associate(s), as well as review their work for accuracy
  • Meet with and develop/maintain relationships with media suppliers
  • Keep abreast of industry trends through trade journals, workshops and current events
  • Seek education and information pertaining to client’s business
  • Attend and participate in client meetings as needed
  • Successfully complete required training program(s)
Our Requirements
  • At least one year of related digital media/communications planning experience
  • Bachelor’s degree required; concentration in advertising, marketing, business administration, and/or communications preferred
  • Possess and demonstrate strong understanding of media fundamentals, including media math, target audience development, and communication goals (reach/frequency)
  • Demonstrate proficiency with systems/tools
  • Strong quantitative skills, including analytical abilities and math proficiency
  • Demonstrate critical thinking and effective problem solving skills
  • Ability to work within a team, handle multiple assignments and meet tight deadlines
  • Extremely detail-oriented, with clear and proven organizational skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Exhibit passion through appropriate participation in team, agency, and industry initiatives
  • Demonstrate genuine curiosity and interest in our clients & their business
  • Digitally savvy, with specific proficiency at MS Suite: Excel, Word, PowerPoint
