Cardno ENTRIX is currently seeking to fill a full-time Senior Consultant position in Houston, TX. The successful candidate will work with a national team of scientists and regulatory experts in our Global Product Stewardship practice. They will lead project teams and expand the practice in Houston and in other offices of the firm.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Managing product stewardship & chemical regulatory compliance projects
  • Play a leadership role in growing the Global Product Stewardship practice
  • Interacting with clients on global regulatory compliance & product stewardship issues
  • Developing new clients related to global product stewardship & chemical regulatory compliance
Basic Qualifications:
  • BS Degree (M.S. or Ph.D preferred) in Environmental Toxicology/Occupational Health or closely related fields
  • 15 years (or more) of experience in chemical regulatory compliance and product stewardship
  • Strong technical background in product stewardship, chemical regulations, human health and/or environmental health
  • Demonstrated abilities in working on global chemical management regulations including REACh, TSCA, & FIFRA
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Experience with advocacy work, ideally for the petroleum, energy, or chemical industries
  • Demonstrated ability in developing programs & business
  • Willingness to travel to support continuing client development efforts.
  • Must be authorized to work in U.S. without company sponsorship
Desired Qualifications:
  • Interdisciplinary background in regulatory toxicology & product compliance is highly desirable
  • CIH, DABT or other related professional accreditation
  • Positive, flexible, team-oriented approach, with the willingness and desire to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team
  • Experience in working with the chemical, energy and/or agricultural chemical industries
  • Positive and energetic attitude
  • Self motivated; strong initiative
  • Detail oriented; resourceful
  • Bilingual capabilities (Spanish) is a plus
