Provide expertise and services in Oracle OBIEE, Business Intelligence and reporting projects. Participate in, and support, profitable business development.
Install and configure OBIEE.
Design and configure different users and groups in OBIEE.
Extensive work in RPD, Webcatlog and Dashboards.
Extensive work on design for Data warehouse.
Develop data access queries and uses OBIEE tools like Answers, builds dashboards and help in development of complex ad hoc queries and analyses.
Configure DAC, Informatica and OBIA to standup Analytics module (Eg: Financial Modules).
Work in DAC in setting up for the respective Datasource, running the execution plans
Work in customizing any OOB DAC containers and using Informatica in creating new mappings
Extend the OOB to accept new tables or add new columns to the existing Datawareshouse and update the workflow in Informatica.
Project Relationship Building: Build rapport with client project team, client employees and Jibe consultants.
Project Support: Support project team for successful delivery of the client’s business requirements through all phases of the implementation. Participate in weekly project status meetings for assigned team and issues meetings.
Marketing Awareness and Client Relationships: Maintain effective relationships with multiple clients. Assist in maintaining a professional market image for Jibe.
Participate in the development of Jibe Intellectual Capital by contributing to central libraries, submitting papers to various Oracle publications, updating user documentation, and by delivering training, either internally or externally.
Leadership: Encourage teamwork and positive working relationships within the project team for all consultants and client members and throughout Jibe.
Skills and Abilities
Core experience in OBIEE (Versions 10, 11); any other DW Tools like BO,TM1 etc is added advantage.
Experienced in Oracle applications Financials, Manufacturing, Supply Chain Planning, Distribution, HCM or CRM Applications consultant (functional or technical) on at least 1 full cycle implementation
Experience in Performance Tuning.
Expertise in Business Objects, Cognos is a plus.
Experienced in any Migration projects from version 10g to version 11g.
Experienced in OBIA implementations and modules implemented.
Oracle SQL, PLSQL
Understands implementation methodologies.
DAC and Informatica experience is value add for OBIA candidates.
Communicates effectively in both written and verbal formats.
Resolves problems in a timely and effective manner, involving project management as appropriate.
Successfully manages relationship with clients and colleagues.
Effectively produces deliverables.
Successful experience on Oracle BI applications on at least 1 full cycle implementation.
BA / BS degree from accredited college or university in computer science, engineering, a directly related field; or equivalent work and/or industry experience.
3-7 years’ experience working directly with Oracle E-Business applications.
2 years of related technical, business or project experience.
1 full lifecycle Oracle OBIEE implementation.
Proficient or lead on more than 1 application module.
Environment and Physical Demands
Able to transport portable computer: approximately 20 pounds.
Work at various client sites which will require travel.
Travel regionally on a routine basis and nationally / internationally as needed.
