Job Family Summary

Territory Management-Med Systems is responsible for increasing penetration and profitability in existing accounts as well as increasing market share through cold calling, prospecting, building relationships, post sales implementation and account maintenance. Focused on account penetration, revenue growth and customer satisfaction within a territory. Involved in the sale of house-wide hardware and/or software systems, networks & interfaces. Buying process is a complex and cross-functional sale with executive sponsorship and board of director approval. Sales cycle is typically 18 - 24 months and call point is executive level. Frequency of renewal is 5 to 7 years.


A Senior Sales Consultant is responsible for driving sales and services to new and/or existing customers through face-to-face or telephone contact to meet individual and organizational sales objectives.
They are responsible for cold calling, prospecting and building relationships that will increase account penetration, revenue growth and customer satisfaction within a specified product line, business segment and/or geography.
A key component/requirement of this position is for ongoing customer development and a keen understanding of the customers buying process, compelling why now and executive sponsor planning and development.
Focus areas will include driving new business as well as increasing penetration in existing accounts.
Sells large capital investment / high technology based equipment that provides direct interface to patient care through advanced clinical/technical application.
Territory will consist of majority of Wisconsin and a portion of the Upper Peninsula of Michigan.


Bachelor's degree required
Minimum 6 years related Healthcare/Capital Equipment sales experience
Ability to travel 25% of time
Proven product knowledge in business area
Valid driver's license
