Job Family Summary

Territory Management-Med Systems is responsible for increasing penetration and profitability in existing accounts as well as increasing market share through cold calling, prospecting, building relationships, post sales implementation and account maintenance. Focused on account penetration, revenue growth and customer satisfaction within a territory. Involved in the sale of house-wide hardware and/or software systems, networks & interfaces. Buying process is a complex and cross-functional sale with executive sponsorship and board of director approval. Sales cycle is typically 18 - 24 months and call point is executive level. Frequency of renewal is 5 to 7 years.

What Business Development - Med Dev contributes to CareFusion

Business Development is responsible for driving sales and services to new and existing customers. Responsible for maximizing customer value/satisfaction by aligning complex product solutions and services with key customer initiatives. Builds and maintains relationship with key decision makers or potential influencers. Involves a longer sales cycle.
Accountabilities in this role

Responsible for analyzing operational, financial and clinical processes to develop a best practice offering utilizing Pyxis Perioperative and Anesthesia products to meet customer's objectives.
Accountable and responsible for developing and presenting return of investment (ROI) assessments with the assistance of subject matter experts (Materials Service Consultants/ Clinical Nurse Specialists) to hospital executives.
Responsible for forecasting utilizing CareFusion sales force automation.
Responsible for communicating and collaborating with Pyxis field operations organization to ensure project management of implementations are on time and in scope.
Responsible for customer communication during and after sale to ensure customer satisfaction
Territory will consist of: Minneapolis & Wisconsin

Bachelor's degree required
Minimum 5-10 years related IT or Capital Equipment sales experience
Ability to travel 30-50% of time
Proven product knowledge in business area
Valid driver's license
