SUMMARY OF BASIC JOB FUNCTION:
Provide a broad range of legal support to the Securities, Governance & Finance functions of the Legal Department (a/k/a Justice League of DaVita HealthCare Partners).
•Bachelor's degree (BA or BS) required
•Paralegal Certificate from ABA accredited program.
•Minimum 7 years experience in-house legal department and/or law firm (possibly less for exceptional candidates).
•Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and oral.
•Ability to work effectively with a wide variety of constituencies.
•Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook.
•Strong broad corporate legal experience which might include legal entity formation/maintenance, help with securities law filings, manage due diligence, assist with board meetings and coordinate with stock plan administrators, among other matters.
