Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in math, engineering, business, or the sciences.
YEARS OF RELEVANT EXPERIENCE:
The position requires eight equivalent years of experience in analysis and technical management.
We are seeking a highly motivated individual with excellent quantitative, analytical, and communication skills for senior analyst positions. In-depth cost estimating and risk analysis knowledge and hands-on MS Excel, Automated Cost Estimating Integrated Tools (ACEIT), and RI$K skills are required.
The ideal candidate will have at least 10 to 15 years of cost estimating and analysis experience supporting a Navy and/or Marine Corps acquisition organization or an equivalent Department of Defense (DoD) acquisition organization. Three semester hours of calculus and 21 semester hours of course work in operations research, economics, math, chemistry, physics, or other sciences where there is utilization of advanced math skills (e.g., geometry, trigonometry, statistics, probability, and/or quantitative analysis) is required. In addition ICEAA, CCE/A or AACE CEP certifications or certifications in process is required. Comparable certifications will be considered.
Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
Individuals will perform cost estimating, cost modeling, and risk simulations for a Marine Corps acquisition organization. Work may include parametric cost estimating, hardware and software cost estimating, life cycle cost analysis, cost estimating relationship (CER) development, cost model development, cost risk assessment & analysis, cost-benefit analysis, and project forecasting.
