In a dynamic product design environment, this position will be part of the Systems Engineering team that leads the compliance development and design of electrical, control, and mechanical accessory systems in support of aero derivative gas turbines for power generation equipment.
In addition, in this role you will:
Lead Compliance Systems integration between Package and Engine for LMS100, LM6000, and LM2500 product lines
Create procedures and guidelines to ensure that governmental and industry regulations are met in both international and domestic markets (Working with both management and staff, compliance engineers coordinate information between departments, educating design teams about product specifications and participating in training of personnel)
Translate Critical to Qualities (CTQs), technical specifications, design practices, and customer requirements
Manage New Technology Introduction (NTI) and New Product Introduction (NPI) programs
Lead compliance / certification in industry Codes and Standards such as CE, CSA, UL, API, ASME, DNV, ABS, Lloyds, SIL, GOST etc.
Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
Minimum of 10 years of post-graduate experience in an engineering role
Minimum of 5 years of experience in codes and standards in gas turbine, heavy duty engine accessory, power generation, or Oil and Gas industry

Proficient in AutoCAD and translating P&ID
Strong oral and written communication skills
Strong interpersonal, leadership, and technical skills
Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems
Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs
Demonstrated leadership in advancing the state of the art in a technical specialty
Green belt certification (GE employees only)
Engineering professional familiar with gas turbine design, control, and operation and maintenance
Familiarity with fluid mechanics, heat transfer, and Engineering Fundamentals
Demonstrated project management skills
Focus on long-term customer satisfaction
Self-starter with strong motivation skills
Strong understanding of GE Aero derivative gas turbines and packages
