This individual provides strategic epidemiologic consultation on all study design and analytical issues to ensure scientific rigor in prospective and retrospective post-approval observational studies. Position Responsibilities: This position provides Epidemiologic support in observational investigations, including consultation on study designs and analysis, development and review of protocols, statistical analysis plans, data collection instruments, study reports, manuscripts and other study deliverables. The primary responsibilities include: Provide consultation on design and analysis of observational studies including, safety, outcomes research, and Pharmacoeconomic studiesAssist with proposal development including review of RFPs, development or modification of study designs, and drafting and review of protocol considerations and other proposal test.Conducts literature review to inform study design, PRO nstrument selection, assessment schedules, analytic methods and operational approachesWork with projects teams during study conduct to develop and review protocols; statistical analysis plans; data collection instruments; tables, listing and figures; study reports and manuscripts, as well as provide epidemiologic oversight during study conduct, Assist with developing and delivering presentations including bid defenses, capabilities presentations and conference presentations, andMiscellaneous epidemiologic tasks, including estimation of prevalence or incidence rates for relevant indications, literature searches, and review of package inserts, regulatory agency websites, databases, etc.Qualifications: Minimum MA/MS/MPH in Epidemiology, Biostatistics, Pharmaceutical Sciences or related degree required with a minimum of 2 (two) years relevant research experience (minimum of 5 years for Associate Director); or a PhD in Epidemiology or Biostatistics, PharmD, or related degree, with relevant research experience (minimum of 3 years for Associate Director). Minimum 2 years programming experience in SAS or STATA. The individual must possess outstanding organizational skills with ability to adapt to changing priorities and meet deadlines; ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team setting, and familiarity with medical terminology.
