This person has an active role in working with VPs and their organizations in various analytical projects: business alignment, case studies, as is/to be, make or buy, logistics, and many other areas of operations and supply chain.

Must have experience partnering with internal customers.
Senior Analyst will play a key role in partnering with supply chain and engineering as well as the forecasting and budgeting processes for the divisions. Prepares evaluations and recommendations for senior management to review and approve. Designs, assesses, pilots and implements cost saving programs and productivity initiatives. Assists in the development of business policies, conducts special, sometimes highly sensitive, business studies and cooperates with other departments as needed. Drives forecasting and budgeting processes for the business unit.
Evaluates cost, productivity, initiatives, and performance programs.
Performs background research of business systems and processes.
Benchmarks other organizations and evaluates vendor proposals as needed to develop a project.
Prepares business and financial evaluations for feasibility, financial improvement, and strategic fit.
Develops project plans for piloting and implementation of process improvements.
Manages project to implement program and track success.
Develops budgets and forecasts for the business unit.
Executes ad hoc and standard reports for management.
Performs all other duties as assigned.
Bachelor degree in Finance, Business, Accounting, Engineering or other related field.
At least five (5) years experience in financial analysis or combination of operations/supply, chain/logistics analysis, or consulting.
Experience with MicroSoft Office applications including: Excel, Word and PowerPoint as well as database software such as Access.
Experience in a deadline-driven, rapidly changing environmentl.
Ability to deal with all employees and external business contacts while conveying a positive, service-oriented attitude.
Ability to understand, evaluate and communicate business initiatives and opportunities.
Experience with organization and business processes, and business strategy.
Ability to receive and comprehend instructions verbally and/or in writing.
Ability to use logical reasoning for simple and complex problem solving.
Ability to multi-task and prioritize; superb attention to detail.
Experience in six sigma, lean manufacturing, supply chain redesign, logistics network design, process improvement / redesign helpful.
Experience with Oracle or similar database system and reporting software such as Business Objects.
Experience working in large field organizations.
