Description
US Consumer Services is the team that identifies, creates and manages the products, benefits and services that cater to US consumers. This includes the US proprietary charge cards, credit cards and co-brand cards. USCS provides benefits and services that deepen a customer’s relationship with American Express and bring to life the importance value of being a card member. The USCS Finance team provides analytical and decision support to USCS business teams as they strive to achieve that aforementioned objectives.

This position will provide financial decision support to the Membership Marketing team within the Consumer Cards & Experiences organization Key responsibilities include:
- Develop an investment optimization infrastructure for customer/internal acquisition
- Partner with the membership marketing team to analyze investment performance across products and channels
- Through analytics, develop insightful and actionable recommendations that can improve internal acquisition economics
- Provide analytical and decision support to the customer retention team
- Analyze retention channel save performance vis-à-vis incentives, in order to drive channel performance and efficiency
- Develop standardized methodologies, tools and procedures to optimize use of available information and drive consistency and best practice
- Identify and create analyses that support business decisions that will improve CCSG economics and help leaders move the business forward

Qualifications
- Highly motivated individual with an ability to drive results and work with ambiguity
- Knowledge of SQL and IDN a plus
- Knowledge of card business model and economics a plus
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, deliver superior quality products, while adhering to time sensitive deadlines, attention to detail with accuracy
- Strong communication abilities
- Business Acumen with high degree of technical and problem solving skills
- Understanding of Finance and Economic principles
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint and Excel
- Bachelor's degree required - 2-3+ years of relevant work experience
