Reporting directly to the Vice President, this position is a subject matter expert responsible for providing key support in the following areas; process analytics, activity based management, productivity maximization, and business and operations analytics. The position will be essential towards ensuring that revenue and expense management is optimized each fiscal year, resulting in tangible impact to the overall operating margin.

  • Develops and administers process for tracking and managing division wide activities, functions, and outputs
  • Assesses and document work flows for all operational departments
  • Maintains activity based management program for operations
  • Prepares cost benefit analysis and return of investment analysis for projects and initiatives
  • Develops and maintains productivity and forecasting models for debt recovery and other divisional functions
  • Prepares detailed and complex financial and operational analysis and recommendations based on modeling results
  • Designs, creates, and maintains reports and coordinates the preparation and distribution of financial and business analytical reporting
  • Assists in preparation and execution of divisional strategic plan
  • Makes high impact business recommendations based on assessment of data and available information
  • Monitors and analyzes budget and operating variances
  • Commission program analysis and administration
  • Complies with all ECMC Group Policies
  • Additional duties as assigned
  • Required to work hours necessary to successfully complete assignments and responsibilities within expected timeframe
  • Will need to work nights and weekends, as necessary to complete work
  • Able to travel as required
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance or related field
  • 7+ years of relevant work experience performing sophisticated operations and financial analysis
  • Experience preparing costing model development and analysis
  • Experience developing activity based costing applications
  • Experience in development and adjusting key metrics and performance indicators in a collections environment
  • Demonstrated organizational and planning capabilities
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Expert proficiency in Microsoft Excel and solid proficient in Microsoft Access, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to assess and identify underlying causes of business issues and performance adjustments and recommend appropriate corrective action
  • Advanced degree
  • Demonstrated in depth knowledge and understanding of student loan industry operations and financials
