We're an agile team that tackles many new and experimental ventures. We're primarily a Python/Django shop and have the freedom to use the right tool for the job. What you will be doing:
Accountable for the design and development of the Web User Interface for a product feature or sub-system. Most time spent developing web development code and testing. Efficiently produces elegant, clean modular code that is well-commented, easy to maintain, and can be reused across a sub-system or feature (for example a portion of a test framework or library). Lead feature or sub-system web design reviews and participates in code reviews for their areas. Is recognized as the go-to web engineer for that component. Collaborate with User Experience Designers, Product Managers and Backend teams to define solutions that meet or exceeds user's needs. Participates in Web design and systems architecture discussions, proposes and discusses solutions to system and product changes that are directly related to their area of focus. Frequently interfaces with other functional teams on all aspects of a feature. Influences senior management on product direction and quality, particularly related to their area of focus and expertise. Becoming visible across major engineering organizations, or through external forums such as conferences, workshops, or open source initiatives.
