This role contributes significantly to the quality success of our global and region-specific research deliverables through research design, data collection, interactive data delivery, quality management, and advisory and content support. Armed with strong project management skills , multi-country data collection knowledge, intellectual curiosity, and a passion for research, this person uses demonstrated research skills and experience to direct CEB Iconoculture’s global quantitative research and works with analysts, researchers, strategists and editors to analyze and distribute data and insights to our clients.
This position fills a very important role within CEB Iconoculture’s research team. While your responsibilities may vary greatly throughout the year, a majority of your time will be spent directing CEB Iconoculture’s annual 17+ country data collection and data delivery. This individual will also serve to instruct other analysts in the elements of successful research methodology and train clients and internal teams on CEB Iconoculture’s data tools.
Direct all research phases of CEB Iconoculture’s global 17+-country research including questionnaire design, vendor procurement, translations, sample and weighting design, field monitoring, data quality, and data delivery
Work with and evaluate web-based charting, cross-tabulation, and other data delivery tools to provide an easy-to-use data delivery system for both internal and external clients
Collaborate with CEB Iconoculture advisory and editorial teams to integrate ideas into survey design; align survey design with long-term trending needs and CEB Iconoculture’s research agenda.
Accountable for helping develop the budget and timeline each year for the global quantitative research and delivering the project on budget and on time
Accountable for the overall quality over time of all CEB Iconoculture quantitative data
Support other research efforts including qualitative communities research, social media analytics, custom solutions and other research through CEB
Support data analysis based on research agendas, internal requests, and client requests including written analysis and generating charts, tables, and other data visualizations to illustrated findings
Support advisory and sales teams on client calls when needed
Run training sessions for clients and the internal community on the use of tools and methodology
Undergraduate degree with 8+ years or advanced degree with 5+ years of multi-country quantitative market research and data collection experience, especially among consumers or tracking studies. Qualitative research and/or social media analytics experience is a plus
Extensive experience and training in quantitative research methods, research design, statistical analysis, and applied statistical modeling
Passion for international research and data collection
Strong written and oral communications skills and exceptional attention to detail
Demonstrated proficiency creating project budgets and managing within budget parameters
Proficiency using Microsoft Office applications including the ability to move information agilely between them; experience with advanced Excel functions and analytical software applications (such as SPSS or SAS)
Extensive experience working with web-based or desktop data tabulation or data delivery tools
Knowledge of or ability to speak multiple languages and/or extensive travel or habitation in another country a plus
