Responsibilities for this Position:
The person selected for this position will design, develop, test, debug, document, deploy and maintain software associated with the S3512 DARKQUEST system. The selected candidate will be able to understand the S3512 customer's domain and translate mission requirements into function software. This SW engineering position requires expertise in Java (Java EE, JBoss) and the ability to integrate COTS and GOTS software.
The person selected for this position will (1) have significant software engineering background in the customer's domain (S3512) and (2) have experience in the signal analysis and/or collection domain. Needed skills include Java EE, JBoss, strong Linux and shell scripting skills.
Contribute to a small, agile team of systems and application developers, testers, domain experts and systems engineers
Script development in Ruby, Perl or Python
MySQL / Alfresco configuration, management and administration
Work closely with customer
Work with domain experts and customers to design solutions
Design and develop solutions and measure solution performance
Document code in accordance with organizational standards

Customer domain experience - signals analysis and processing
Candidates must show a passion for innovation, a sophisticated understanding of software systems and applications, and the ability to effectively manage, grow and evolve GDAIS software solutions.
The Senior Java Software Engineer position requires a bachelors degree in a specialized area or equivalent field and a minimum of ten years of related experience; or masters degree and a mimum of eight years of related experience.
TS/SCi with Polygraph security clearance is required at time of hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.
