This is a global, senior level information technology position reporting to the future head of Enterprise Services.

Responsibilities include: Â
·


Assist in the creation of charter and governance model for new organization Â
·
Extend this team’s processes across regions, integrating support areas around world into one organization Â
·
Responsible for seven distinct groups (approx.120 staff): o
Database Administration Team (RDBMS & ETL) o
UNIX Middleware Administration Team (supporting products such as IBM Websphere, MQ and Cognos) o
WINTEL Middleware Administration Team (supporting products such as IIS, Adobe, and ) o
Application Disaster recovery Team (manage DR tests and maintain evergreen data) o
Application Change Management & Source Code control management Team o
Communication, Reporting Team
o Virtual Desktop (Citrix) deployment Team Â
·
Oversee multiple projects, i.e., Virtual Desktop Deployments Â
·
Work closely with sr management to oversee multiple projects to meet business and compliance requirements Â
·
Maintain the software license and maintenance budget for all shared services products Â
·
Manage a $15M+ GOE budget and $5M+ software/maintenance budget Â
·
Maintain license entitlement inventory for all shared services products Â
·
Responsible for end user workstation images by ensuring a reliable and consistent desktop software testing and certification process Â
·
Establish and oversee a support organization that provides early warnings of failures of application and infrastructure via monitoring tools to minimize business disruptions due to IT failures Â
·
Review and approve all application/middleware changes as OOP Â
·
Review and approve non-standard technology procurement requests Â
·
Review and approve requests for Privileged Access (PA) and Data Loss Prevention (DLP) exemptions Â
·
Review and approve all privileged access recertification requests Â
·
Review and approve all LAN port requests and UNIX id requests for business users Â
·
Maintain a Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) Compliant Change Management organization Â
·
Provide guidance and support to all IT managers Â
·
Consult with IT or business leaders and provide technology solutions to meet business needs Â
·
Direct, monitor and approve technology investments in the Middleware space Â
·
Review and approve all business cases to ensure they align with offerings and can be supported by Middleware team
Candidate should have following traits: Â
·


15+ years in Data Center Operations and/or IT “Middleware” Â
·
College degree with concentration in Business and/or IT Â
·
Strong knowledge of job-specific IT policies, processes and procedures Â
·
Experience in developing, deploying and managing a global organization Â
·
Budget planning, preparation and management Â
·
Excellent communication and negotiation skills Â
·
Strong organizational skills Â
·
Willingness to travel globally
