Report directly to the Corporate Controller in the Finance department. The Senior Manager-New Products Finance is a newly created role at Zillow, part of the New Products Finance team that will manage the Financial Reporting and Accounting requirements of business initiatives impacting new and existing revenue generating product lines. This individual will interface directly with the Zillow Finance, Business Intelligence, Product, Engineering and Compliance teams to help understand, define and execute against Finance and Accounting functional/technical requirements impacting both revenue and the Zillow ERP, Microsoft Dynamics. The individual will also develop processes, test plans, help ensure Sarbanes-Oxley readiness, reporting and knowledge transfer to key finance team personal. This role is broadly responsible for ensuring financial reporting readiness for new and current revenue product lines into our accounting platform and will plan, organize and manage cross-functional teams from conceptual stages through product development life cycles.

Basic Qualifications:
BA/BS with a concentration in Finance, Accounting or Information Systems.

Knowledge and experience with the Software Development Life Cycle (requirements gathering, process design, testing, conversion, and deployment) and/or product life cycle management.

Experience in developing functional specifications documentation for internal reporting related projects.

Overall project management experience with cross-functional teams.

Work Experience:
Minimum 5+ years in Big 4 Accounting/Consulting firm and/or Fortune 500 company experience.

Prior experience working for a high-tech, high-growth or e-commerce company.

Must submit to a background check.

Technical Skills:
Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and business intelligence knowledge.

Must be systems savvy and have the ability and drive to learn.

Advanced Excel skills, with interest and aptitude to work with large amounts of data.

Job Skills:
Exceptional analytical, planning and project management skills meeting established timelines.

Ability to have detailed discussions on technical, accounting and financial requirements with a variety of project stakeholders.

Keen attention to detail and ability to effectively multi-task in a deadline driven environment.

Able to express and evaluate ideas with quantitative and qualitative data.

Strong understanding of US GAAP.

Impeccable organization, verbal and written communication as well as interpersonal skills.

Experience participating in a monthly accounting close process.

Experience working with auditors and Sarbanes-Oxley regulations.

Manage the integration, testing, and stabilization of new and current revenue products from the product development phase through financial reporting.

Manage and participate in the development of process documentation for revenue streams that are required for project deployment.

Work with variety of internal teams to ensure seamless integration of financial and reporting requirements.

Review and assist in documentation of complex revenue accounting issues to support compliance with applicable authoritative literature.

Contribute to the budgeting and planning of new revenue lines, as necessary.
