Responsibility to plan and execute traditional and digital integrated media buys for existing and future clients as it pertains to his/her account assignments. Serve as the internal and external lead of those services to clients working with the various account groups and creative services as needed.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Work with Account Service staff to evaluate client needs with regards to media and advertising
When requested, assist in the development of proposals and agency reviews by creating plans, points of view, written summaries, and client presentations
Analyze market research and study demographic data of a wide range of media vehicles to determine the most effective approach to reach target audience
Represent client and agency to the media community in a consistently respectful and professional manner
Communicate with media representatives on behalf of CMD’s clients to negotiate the best placement, highest value-add, and optimal use of budgeted funds
Prepare media plan options, analyses, and recommendations based on strategic direction provided
Provide expert analysis and media plans to improve clients’ businesses and must be comfortable speaking in public settings and to clients directly
Implement plan and maintain budget control throughout entire process
Insure all signed client authorizations and paperwork is in place for implementation
Issue insertion orders and purchase orders as necessary
Maintain tracking system and resolve billing discrepancies
Be highly organized and effectively manage all the details associated with media campaigns
Work with software programs such as Strata/SBMS, MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Third Party Ad Serving
Complete required paperwork including daily timesheets for all hours / all days worked weekly activity reports, and monthly expense reports
Participate in staff meetings as required
At least seven years of agency or client side experience in media planning and implementation with a mix of traditional and digital media experience.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel for data manipulation, analysis, and charting
Capable of generating consistently accurate, useful reports as well as a enthusiasm for translating data into actionable insight relevant to marketing program objectives
Attention to detail and time management to deliver high quality work for multiple projects across several client engagements while meeting deadlines
Maintain professional and related business knowledge by attending workshops; reviewing professional/trade publications, establish professional networks participate in professional societies and groups
