This Senior Military Operations Analyst will support a broad array of clients including the Air Force Director of Strategic Deterrence and Nuclear Integration, HQ Air Force Global Strike Command, the Air Force Nuclear Weapons Center, and OSD AT&L Strategic and Tactical Warfare Division.

Responsibilities:

As a member of a broad analytic team, the analyst conducts a variety of analyses on strategic deterrence and nuclear operations, supports Strategic Planning and PPBES support efforts. Utilizes knowledge of military warfare, military operations analysis, political military situations and military organization in determining solutions.

Requirements:

Master’s Degree required in a technical/analytical field such as Operations Research, Applied Mathematics or Engineering is required. 10+ years of relevant experience in military operations combined with significant knowledge of strategic nuclear deterrence, nuclear planning and operations, and an understanding of the US Strategic Triad is also required. A diverse military operational background that includes expertise in both USAF Space and ICBM systems is needed. Previous experience providing analytic support to the Department of Defense nuclear missions is required. A minimum of three years of relevant experience with Air Force ICBM operations is also needed. USAF Space expertise is also highly desired, as the individual will function as one of the company’s Space Systems SMEs. Experience serving on the Headquarters Air Force Staff is required. Service on a Major Command staff or on the HQ STRATCOM staff is desirable. Other knowledge/expertise that would be valuable include: Joint Capabilities Integration and Development System (JCIDS), Capabilities Based Assessments (CBAs), DoD Acquisitions or program management, and AF Corporate or OSD PPBES Processes. The individual needs to possess excellent oral, written communication skills and strong presentation skills. Must be able to express complex analytical ideas in a concise and accurate way and have demonstrated leadership qualities, initiative and critical thinking. Ideally, the individual will be capable of leading and managing team members and communicating with clients. This position requires the ability to break down complex issues and lay out an objective approach to identify and compare the merits of competing solutions. Proven proficiency in using MS Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is required. An active Secret clearance is required. Active Top Secret SCI preferred.
