Description
This position is responsible for supporting End User Computing Issues. This is a position that provides accurate and timely support services for end user devices. Working under general supervision this position is responsible to install and trouble-shoot hardware, software, and network problems for the clients they support. Also provides an assist in the general evaluation of business problems, evaluates and recommends vendor packages, and implements required software. Assists in the evaluation of new personnel end-user computing packages and equipment as well as in the implementation and testing of prototypes. Consults with client area management and staff regarding end-user equipment problems or malfunctions and recommends solutions. Guide and/or mentor Associate EUC Specialist(s), to improve teamwork, knowledge, and customer service. Lead out and manage other desktop projects, as required. Identify roadblocks and make recommendations for completion of projects. Make recommendations to the facility managers and/or directors as to what needs to be replaced. This may include assessments for physician practices and new hospital acquisitions. *
Qualifications
Requirements
10+ years of experience in Desk Top Support or Desk Top Help Desks required
Bachelor's degree in computer science or related degree required
2+ years of experience in healthcare IT preferred.
Experience with personal computers and software applications. Ability to learn systems with little or no documentation. Continuous learning of new systems, business processes, and concepts are a must.
At least one year of Network Experience as it pertains to Device Connectivity and Network/PC trouble shooting.
A+ certification required.
