Join the growing legal department at Ruckus’s Sunnyvale headquarters. Ruckus is seeking an experienced paralegal or contracts manager to support a variety of legal needs for the company. You will have a wide variety of interesting work supporting a company with software and hardware development, global sales and services, marketing, and manufacturing and supply chain operations.

As we build the legal department, you will get to help shape this role. As a result, we are looking for a senior person with broad skills and the initiative to identify needs and develop solutions for providing legal support to a rapidly growing company. Your responsibilities will include:
  • Building a contracts management capability across the company
  • Preparing and negotiating basic agreements across our business units, including incoming EULAs and software licenses, NDAs, distribution and reseller agreements, supply chain contracts and consulting agreements
  • Review and approve marketing materials and press releases while providing counsel and advice to our Marketing organization regarding intellectual property (primarily trademark and copyright), advertising, and competitive intelligence legal issues
To be considered, you should have the following qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 12+ years of broad experience, particularly in support of technology companies
  • Experience working with form contracts, including the ability to modify agreements within defined parameters
  • An understanding of legal issues related to product marketing
  • Prior corporate experience in a fast-paced environment at both large and small companies is desirable
