Leverage CSS cross-portfolio assets, industry and broader market knowledge to help our customers grow, increase the CSS customer base and improve the CSS portfolio offering.
Solutions Design Overview
The Portfolio Management team provides broad CSS cross-portfolio leadership, facilitation and support across the following six areas leveraging collaborative relationships with Technology, Sales, Delivery and Customers:
o Customer Support
o Sales Support
o Implementation Support
o Portfolio Strategy
o Enterprise Process
o M&A Support
a. Current customers have occasion to need new solutions to business problems that require a solution spanning multiple CSS functional areas. Portfolio Management will liaison with the Sales Account Directors, Solution Management and Technology to facilitate the creation of a solution acceptable to both Sabre and the Customers. Team will also assist in the design of the solution as necessary.
b. Strategic Partners often have broad initiatives that require CSS though leadership to develop the appropriate of technology support. Portfolio Management will partner with customer, account team, Solution Management and Technology to develop business requirements as well as help leverage such solutions into the broader CSS offering.
a. Facilitate CSS responses to CSS RFIs and RFPs in conjunction with the Sales Center of Excellence, ensuring quality, consistency and accuracy of responses.
b. Participate in sales due diligence process to evaluate prospect business offering and potential variances to CSS as well as help articulate CSS value and strategy in order to minimize customization.
a. Represent CSS Portfolio in large CSS implementations requiring customization. Portfolio Management will work closely with Program Executive, Delivery, Technology and Solution Management to ensure quality design of new customized solutions, timely issue resolution, management of change control, etc., through CSS implementation and post-cutover obligation support, as needed.
CSS Portfolio Strategy Support
a. As a result of performing the functions listed above, Portfolio Management will have broad insight into portfolio level needs of the industry, current and future CSS Community members which will be shared across Solution Management on an ongoing basis.
b. Identify and recommended AS cross-portfolio interface investment between CSS and AirVision/AirCentre
c. Promote portfolio innovation through exploring and debating the potential of leveraging new developments in technology or other industries into CSS.
d. Provide quality assurance practices to ensure key investments in the portfolio are optimally designed to leverage multiple customer requirements and cross-portfolio functionality.
CSS Enterprise Process Support
a. Work with Delivery and Solution Management to create efficient offerings of CSS that are scalable from a cost perspective yet meet customer needs (e.g., Economy CSS, Standard CSS and Deluxe CSS).
b. Work with AS Marketing and Finance to facilitate the product plan process.
c. Work with Sales COE, Technology COE, Marketing and Account Management as needed to improve processes affecting CSS at large. Examples include optimizing sales pursuit engagement level, BRD and estimate process, CR process, etc.
Represent CSS as part of M&A Activities
a. Lead product evaluation of key M&A opportunities
