BOKU is a well-funded startup building the standard for mobile payments. Our service operates at the intersection between social media, mobile, and monetization. We’re growing fast and we're looking for a talented, Product Manager to automate, improve, and scale our internal and back office systems.
This role requires the ability to concisely evaluate the business requirements of a globally dispersed, end-user organization. The role recommends and/or participates in the design and configuration of appropriate business solutions and leads the deployment and adoption of mission critical systems through testing, documentation, training and monitoring.

Define product requirements for new internal and back office systems via detailed specifications. Work closely with engineering teams to build and ship products based on your specs.

Work cross-functionally with stakeholders in operations, finance, customer support and compliance to define, maintain and execute against a product roadmap.

Work with operational teams to configure standard off the shelf enterprise software systems such as ERP, CRM, Customer Support, and HR systems to meet business requirements.

Configure, deploy and evangelize business analytic systems (data warehouse, business intelligence) to internal business users and to external partners such as merchants and resellers

Work with Finance teams to improve and streamline reconciliation and financial closing processes. This can include issues related to tax, currency conversion, pricing, and risk and fraud.

Drive improvements in self-service portals for customers and partners. Utilize knowledge management systems to enhance and further self-service.

Research and identify new products, services, and technologies and translate them into viable solutions. Facilitate and drive buy versus build decisions.


Minimum of 3 years experience in some combination of business analysis, project management and product management required.

Experience designing, building and integrating operational systems to improve the efficiency and scale of teams such as Finance, Customer Support, HR and Business Operations.

Past experience with configuring and administering back office systems such as ERP, CRM, Customer Support and HR systems is a plus.

Experience using and / or configuring business analytic systems such as data warehouse systems.

You have a high degree of technical competency in software development practices, project management, and the ability to bridge the gap between technology and business needs.

You are an experienced self-starter with a customer-centric focus, an analytical mindset, and extreme attention to detail.

You have a successful track record in shipping technology products and services.

You deal well with ambiguity and respond flexibly to change.

You are a strong, innovative leader who can prioritize well and communicate effectively.

You are comfortable getting your hands dirty in day-to-day tasks to get things done. No task is beneath you.

BA/BS required, preferably in technology, business, or a related field.
