The Business Development Executive will identify and collaborate with federal stakeholders to develop requirements of new projects, Task Orders and RFP’s. Responsibilities include account management in coordination with Technica's Program Management Office (PMO), opportunity identification, program capture and transition to execution. Experience with engineering services level of effort determination, competitive analysis and project pricing to win. Experience with all phases of proposal capture. Shipley experience helpful. Will maintain positive relations with customers, contract managers, and staff supporting each task order. Will require travel to Ft. Meade, MD.

Requirements include, but are not limited to:
  • Knowledge of Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA); prior work/capture experience required
  • Strong demonstrated proficiency managing DOD technology projects associated with professional Services
  • Experience with US Government procurement and contracting process
  • Experience with account/customer management, financial management, risk management, and contracts management
  • Ability to build and maintain excellent relationships with government clients
  • Excellent organization skills with the ability to work on multiple projects of varying complexity simultaneously
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills to interact with all levels of personnel – management, technical and administrative
  • Ability to identify potential and emerging problems early-on and propose mitigation strategies
  • Personal attributes include a respect for others; integrity, initiative and independence; strong results orientation; ability to demonstrate flexibility
