Parsons is mobilizing for a national facilities program on a multi-year contract. Our scope of work consists of managing the design and construction of multiple facilities nationwide. We will be assessing existing facilities and making recommendations for inclusion in the budget. We will also be managing the real estate portfolio and providing control to the program. As part of our team, you will be helping the client manage and improve its national building portfolio in a cost effective manner.
We are seeking a Project Controls Specialist with strong estimating experience to support design and construction projects from planning and programming through occupancy. The selected candidate will produce a master project schedule and monitor our team members’ performance to assure the schedule is met or appropriate adjustments are made and communicated to our client. In addition you will track performance against project budget to ensure costs are in line with the percentage of scope of work underway. You will also be working closely with our cost estimator, so an understanding and familiarity with estimating is highly desired. This position is based in Arlington, VA. Please note that relocation assistance is not available at this time, so local candidates are strongly preferred.
5+ years of related project controls experience, preferably with multi-use buildings, facilities, or campus assessment projects
Track record of developing and managing schedules and budgets
Experience with engineering and/or construction cost estimating a plus
Proficient with Primavera scheduling software a must
BS in Engineering, Construction Management or related degree
